How To Live With Less

How to live with less sounds threatening because it is very hard to do. If you had to live with less you would say you had less. That is not true because you gain time to do more to the extreme and become rich for doing so as well as smart and often wise. To live with less is the following things:

1.  Healthy Food

2.  Minimal Shelter

3.  Minimal Practical Furniture

4.  Practical Clothing

5.  Minimal Cooking Supplies

6.  Minimal Toiletries

7.  Constructive Hobbies

8.  Acquaintances

9.  Healthy Food/Medicine  Garden

10. Large Freezer

11. Minimal Cleaning Supplies

The fact is that if you already have a lot of items in your home you can’t throw them out to get down to this for the fear of doing it. It’s separation anxiety. I took 40 years to throw out my belongings because I had to reinvent myself for new purposes of living.

First off food is most important. You must find healthy food and that is impossible. So find the least dangerous foods. To do this take your time and that took me 40 years and climbing. To say this is separation anxiety too. To eat healthy food you have to cut out one unhealthy food at a time and replace it with a healthy one otherwise you won’t know how to do it for process of living. I changed one food every 6 months to start and got down to every 4 months eventually. Packaging is small now days and greater volume than the products. Because of this use large canisters to store food. Freezers are necessary to save money because sales are 5 weeks apart now and most pay only 4 weeks. To top it off if you are in an area with warm weather you need one because trucks are necessary now days to attain food and stores sell out in 2 days roughly when products come from far. Buy round Tupperware if you are smart. It cleans at 1/3 the speed in the sink.

As far as shelter you should be getting down to the smallest space you can achieve to save on land damage. Make sure you have a large enough space for sanity as well. That should include outside land. Go with as little furniture as possible too. Make sure it suits the most needs like your living space.

Your clothing should be as little as possible and the most practical. You are surviving only on Earth with a few exceptions for the soul like a bright outfit.

Cooking Supplies like appliances, containers, pots, cutlery dishes are meant to be as few as possible and appliances should do as much as possible to minimize on the number of them. White makes dirt appear easier to clean.

Toiletries should be kept to less than 1 dozen. Don’t use soap. It’s meant to clog pores and make you sweat to death literally. Buy a product that will clean your skin without cream in it. You won’t need deodorant then if you find one. You won’t stink for most jobs but some you will. If that is the case you can find a permanent deodorant that does not clog pores if you try. Tweezers, Tweezer Scissors, tooth brush, facecloths, towels, razor, trimmer, and cleanser not clogging you will do almost all.

A hobby is your best friend.

Acquaintance’s are a must and you have to keep the spirit alive.

A healthy food harden is for no expenses at the store. An apple tree is 50 bucks and feeds you for life. No more store apples ever bought. Why truck any anymore. All the apple trucks would be off the highway.

The fastest way out of poverty is cleanliness they say. Keep clean and buy one all-purpose cleaner for laundry, counters, floors and windows. Then buy bleach. You’ll need a granule soap to scrub once in a while until you get rid of grime areas in your house and replace them with no grime surfaces. That will save you on having to buy this granule cleaner in the end.
